Typical timelines: material delivery takes 1 day, drainage work 1 to 7 days, land clearing 1 to 10 days, site prep 3 to 14 days and excavation 1 to 14 days. Size, ground conditions and weather move these numbers, so they're a starting point, not a promise.
From quick fixes to full builds
These are the ranges we use when people ask how long their job will take.
Quick
Material delivery is usually a single day. Drainage work runs 1 to 7 days.
Medium
Land clearing is 1 to 10 days, depending on acreage and how thick the growth is.
Bigger
Site prep runs 3 to 14 days. Excavation, like ponds, trenches and footings, is 1 to 14 days.
What changes the timeline
Size, soil, rock, how much fill has to come in, and rain. Wet ground has to dry before it can be graded and compacted properly.
Quick questions
Does rain delay site work?
It can. Grading and compaction need the ground to be workable.
Can multiple phases run back to back?
Yes. Clearing, site prep and material are all in house, so one phase rolls into the next.
