Land Clearing

Overgrown lots, fence lines, home sites and pasture that the woods took back. We clear it with an excavator, a skid steer mulcher and the trucks to haul it off, then leave the ground ready for whatever comes next.

Quick answer

Streamline Construction Services clears land across the Shoals and North Alabama: brush, small and large trees, stumps and overgrowth. Most land clearing jobs take 1 to 10 days depending on acreage and how thick the growth is. Fall and winter are the best time to clear, because dormant vegetation and bare branches make the work faster.

How we do it

Done right underneath.

  1. Walk the property

We look at what's growing, what stays, where the trucks can get in and where it all goes.

  2. Knock it down

Excavator and mulcher take the brush, trees and stumps. Keepers stay marked.

  3. Pile, burn or haul

Debris is piled and burned where that's allowed, or loaded out.

  4. Leave it workable

The ground is cleaned up and roughed level so the next phase can start.

Questions we get

When is the best time to clear land in Alabama?

Fall and winter. With the leaves down and the vegetation dormant, it's easier to see what you're working with, and clearing goes quicker. Quicker means less equipment time, which can mean a lower bill.

How long does land clearing take?

Most jobs land somewhere between 1 and 10 days. A half-acre of brush is a different job from several wooded acres with big stumps, so we give you a timeline after we see it.

Do you remove stumps too?

Yes. Stumps come out with the excavator so the ground can be graded and used.

What happens to the debris?

Depending on the property and local rules, we pile and burn it or load it out.
